Mounting:
The Volkswagen hardtop from Rhinoman is not supplied as a kit, but directly as a fully assembled unit, which saves time during assembly. 
To guarantee a stable hold, the hardtop is mounted to the factory-fitted screw connections of the lashing eyes using the included retaining struts. This means that the forces are not transferred to the edge of the platform, but directly to the reinforced areas of the cargo bed. 
 

Please note: According to the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles body builder's guideline, the underside of the truck bed must be fitted with a truck bed reinforcement if a load is applied to the edge of the truck bed. Please note that this equipment is not included in the delivery. As an alternative to the solution offered by the vehicle manufacturer, we offer the AERO J-Brace Kit as an optional extra.
